Move from Windows to Linux without a USB

Centrio Transfer moves a Windows 10 or 11 installation to Oreon 10 on the same computer. Your files and some apps come with it. No USB drive.

Oreon 10 desktop
  • Runs on the Windows computer you already have
  • Brings your files and some apps
  • Linux equivalents found for Windows-specific apps

How the move works

Centrio Transfer is a Windows program. Install it on Windows 10 or 11 and it moves that installation to Oreon 10. No USB stick to write, no separate installer to boot.

What comes with you

Your files and some apps come over. For apps that only exist on Windows, Centrio looks for a Linux equivalent of the same app as a Flatpak or a package. Back up the machine before you start. Oreon HQ is not liable for data loss.

If this computer is not running Windows

Use the Oreon 10 ISO. That covers new installs and machines not running Windows 10 or 11.
