Dual boot Oreon with Windows

The Oreon 10 installer has a dual-boot selector, so you can install Oreon next to the system already on the disk.

  • The existing system stays on the disk
  • Oreon is added beside it
  • You boot the Oreon 10 ISO to do this

From the installer

Boot the Oreon 10 ISO and use the dual-boot selector in Centrio Installer. Keep what is already installed and add Oreon next to it. The selector comes up during setup, so you do not have to type the partition layout by hand.

You still need install media

Dual boot needs the ISO. Write it to a USB stick and boot it. For a Windows 10 or 11 computer, Centrio Transfer does the move without a USB drive.
